Tuberculosis

Tuberculosis (TB) remains one of the world’s deadliest infectious diseases, killing nearly two-thirds of untreated patients within three years. While curable with proper treatment, delays or incomplete care allow the disease to progress, leading to severe illness, drug resistance, and death.

TB often lurks silently: 1 in 4 people worldwide carries latent TB, with a 5–10% lifetime risk of it becoming active. For those with weakened immune systems—such as people living with HIV—the risk skyrockets to 10% per year. HIV co-infection makes TB harder to treat and deadlier, with higher failure rates and mortality.

Yet, TB is preventable and curable. Early diagnosis, full treatment courses, and vaccines (like the BCG) save lives.

Vaccines & Care For All Kids is committed to:

✔ Expanding TB screening in high-risk communities.

✔ Ensuring children and vulnerable groups receive life-saving treatment.

✔ Combating drug-resistant strains through education and medical support.

With your help, we can stop TB in its tracks. Every donation brings us closer to a world where no child—or adult—dies from this preventable disease.
